At Autac, testing isn’t an afterthought. It’s simply how we work.

Every cable and every coil we produce is individually tested before it leaves our factory. No exceptions. If it’s going out to a customer, it has been tested.

Our products are built to perform reliably in real-world, often demanding environments. Once installed, they’re expected to work from day one. By testing each product individually, we make sure it’s ready to do exactly that.

Cables and coils don’t have an easy job. They’re regularly in motion, carrying electrical loads and operating in conditions that can change quickly. Even small issues can cause disruption if they go unnoticed, which is why every single cable and coil is tested before dispatch.

Investing in the latest technology

At the heart of this process is our tester machine. In December 2025, we introduced a brand-new testing system into our factory and it has already made a noticeable difference.

Compared to our previous machine, the new tester is significantly faster thanks to its automatic monitoring functionality. Once the final plug is inserted, testing begins straight away. It can also precisely diagnose faults, identifying exactly which contact in which plug has failed.

The new system is also capable of diagnosing complex finished products that include components such as resistors and capacitors, including our EV product range. This allows products to move through production more smoothly.

What we test

As part of our standard procedure, our testing process includes:

·       Wire resistance testing

·       Low voltage insulation resistance testing

·       1kV dielectric withstand testing

·       1kV insulation resistance testing

This gives us complete confidence that every cable and coil leaving our factory has been thoroughly tested. It also provides a clearer, more consistent testing process for our team.

For us, quality isn’t something that’s checked at the last minute. It’s built into the process from start to finish.
