Autac is pleased to unveil its exciting new brand which will spearhead its commitment to offering end-to-end supply chain management in cable, cable assembly and electric vehicles.
It’s the most significant repositioning of the company since its inception in 1964, and follows a series of key initiatives implemented by husband and wife team David and Sallie Lowe after their purchase of the business in 2016.
It began with a desire to complement the existing cable business with a cable assemblies arm. This led to the acquisition in July 2019 of Congleton based Stacey Cables which now operates under the name, Autac Assemblies. That step change was soon followed by the establishment of a new arm of the business, Autac EV Ltd, which builds on Autac’s expert knowledge in producing cable and cable assemblies to develop this exciting new transport market.

The rebrand is being applied across the company’s website, product brochures, event management, content writing and social media management. Driving the rebrand is Autac’s commitment to four key pillars which will underpin its growth strategy over the coming years: Quality; Solutions Driven; Innovation; and Customer Service.
David Lowe, Autac’s Managing Director, explains the significance of the four pillars,

Alongside that ethos, our ambitious growth strategies demand an injection of high energy.
In order to future proof our clients’ businesses, and in turn our own business, innovation is very much at the heart of our immediate plans. EV is only one example of where we’re making that happen, having recently embarked on a 2-year research project in this area with the University of Salford.
That approach to innovation, coupled with the creation of our new cable assemblies and EV businesses, significantly strengthens our end-to-end supply chain management in all things cable. We look forward to sharing further announcements on the development of our brands over the coming months.”
